Experimental 'Armored' cell shot targets solid cancers in tiny safety trial

NCT ID NCT07479667

First seen Apr 06, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This early study is testing a single injection of special immune cells (dendritic cells) that are 'armored' with antibodies to see if they are safe for people with solid tumors like pancreatic, colorectal, or stomach cancer. Only 8 adults who have already had surgery and chemotherapy are taking part. The main goal is to check for side effects, not to cure the cancer.
