Doctors track safety of 1000 patients after special needle therapy

NCT ID NCT05318859

Summary

This study aimed to check how safe a Korean medicine treatment called pharmacopuncture is for people with back and joint problems. Researchers observed 1,000 hospitalized patients across seven Korean medicine hospitals, looking for any side effects or changes in blood tests after they received the treatment. The main goal was to gather information on the treatment's safety profile by tracking infections and other unwanted events.
