New scan cuts Kids' radiation risk without losing clarity

NCT ID NCT07199101

Summary

This study aims to create and test a safer CT scan protocol for children that uses much less radiation. It will involve 2,650 children across multiple hospitals to see if the new low-dose scans can still produce clear, reliable images for doctors to make accurate diagnoses. The goal is to protect children from unnecessary radiation exposure while ensuring they get the medical imaging they need.
