First seen Dec 08, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tested whether simple home technologies, like motion-sensor games and automatic scent diffusers, could help older adults with mild memory problems feel safer and more independent. Researchers planned to include 4 participants aged 60 and older who had minor memory complaints but no dementia. The study was stopped early, so results are limited.
