Stent showdown: how long is too long for pancreas stents?

Summary
This study looks at the best timing for removing a small plastic tube (stent) placed in the pancreas to prevent inflammation after an ERCP procedure. About 358 adults who need this preventive stent will be randomly assigned to have it removed early or left in longer. The goal is to see which approach causes fewer side effects and how often the stent falls out on its own.
