Shocking discovery: electrical glove may boost hand function in kids with stroke
NCT ID NCT06536634
First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding a gentle electrical stimulation glove to standard therapy can improve hand and arm function in children with hemiparesis (weakness on one side). 34 children aged 6-18 will either receive the glove therapy plus usual care, or usual care alone, for 5 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in hand coordination and brain activity to see if the extra stimulation helps.
