NCT ID NCT07493564

First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study tests whether sacroplasty, a minimally invasive procedure done under local anesthetic, can help older adults (50+) with painful pelvic fractures recover faster and improve their quality of life. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either sacroplasty or standard care (pain medication and physiotherapy). The goal is to see if the procedure reduces pain, improves mobility, and lowers complications like pneumonia or blood clots.
