New exercise combo targets stubborn pelvic pain

Summary
This study tests whether adding latissimus dorsi (back muscle) strengthening to standard gluteal exercises reduces pain and improves pelvic alignment in adults with sacroiliac joint dysfunction. Forty participants aged 35–55 with chronic low back pain will be split into two groups: one doing only gluteal exercises, the other adding back muscle exercises. The goal is to see if the combination provides better relief than gluteal exercises alone.
