NCT ID NCT04713085
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 09, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tested two types of nerve stimulation (one with a needle, one without) in 48 children aged 2-17 who had severe constipation and bowel leakage that didn't improve with standard treatments. The goal was to see if these treatments could reduce stomach pain, improve bowel movements, and cut down on accidents. The study is now complete, and results will show which approach works better.
