Summary

This study is testing if an investigational drug called RZ358 can help people with congenital hyperinsulinism, a rare genetic disorder that causes dangerously low blood sugar. About 56 participants, from infants to adults, will receive RZ358 or a placebo along with their standard care for 24 weeks to see if it reduces low blood sugar events. The goal is to find a safer, more effective treatment for a condition where current options are often insufficient or have significant side effects.
