NCT ID NCT06752694

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 32 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding ruxolitinib to standard medications can prevent graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) in adults over 40 receiving a stem cell transplant for aplastic anemia, a condition where the bone marrow fails to produce enough blood cells. GVHD occurs when donor immune cells attack the recipient's body. The trial involves one participant and aims to see if this approach reduces severe GVHD compared to past results.
