Summary
This study tested whether taking rutin, a natural plant compound, for two weeks could improve a 40-kilometer cycling time trial in 12 healthy young men. Researchers measured markers of oxidative stress, inflammation, and blood flow during exercise. The goal was to see if rutin could reduce exercise-induced stress and enhance performance.
