NCT ID NCT04919239
First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tested a vaccine called RUTI as an extra treatment for people with tuberculosis (TB). 140 adults with drug-sensitive or drug-resistant TB received either the vaccine or a placebo along with their regular TB medicines. The goal was to see if the vaccine could help clear the bacteria from their lungs faster. The vaccine is meant to boost the body's immune response to TB, not to cure it alone.
