This large study is testing whether a structured treatment program led by local village doctors can help people in rural China better control their high blood pressure. It involves nearly 34,000 adults with uncontrolled blood pressure across 326 villages. The goal is to see if this community-based approach lowers blood pressure, reduces future heart problems, and may even lower the risk of dementia over several years.
