Scientists test if short bursts beat long jogs for fat burning
NCT ID NCT06962605
Summary
This study aims to find out if switching between fast and slow running (interval training) burns more calories and helps control blood sugar better than jogging at a steady pace. Researchers will measure energy use and muscle oxygen in 16 healthy, active men as they try three different 40-minute running workouts. The goal is to gather knowledge about how different exercise patterns affect the body, not to treat a disease.
