Brain zaps and swallow drills: new combo therapy for tube patients

Summary

This study tests whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique (rTMS) combined with standard swallowing exercises can help patients who have trouble swallowing after a breathing tube is removed. Sixty adults will be randomly assigned to either swallowing training alone or swallowing training plus rTMS. The goal is to improve oral feeding ability and reduce complications like pneumonia.
