Summary
This study tests whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called rTMS can reduce negative symptoms of schizophrenia, such as lack of motivation, social withdrawal, and reduced emotional expression. About 62 adults with schizophrenia who have stable medication will receive either real rTMS or a placebo treatment. The goal is to see if rTMS can improve these hard-to-treat symptoms.
