NCT ID NCT07024550

First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This small study tests whether a therapy called rTMS (repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation) can reduce food cravings in adults who binge eat. Eight participants will receive six treatments with a device that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate the brain. The researchers will use brain scans (fMRI) to see if the therapy changes activity in the brain's reward pathways, which are linked to cravings.
