Head-to-Head test: which RSV shield works best for babies?

NCT ID NCT07251972

Summary

This study aims to find out which of two approved prevention methods is better at protecting healthy, full-term newborns from serious RSV bronchiolitis during the winter virus season. It will compare giving a vaccine to pregnant mothers late in pregnancy with giving a protective antibody shot directly to the baby right after birth. The trial involves 1,050 babies and focuses on which method leads to fewer emergency room visits for bronchiolitis.
