Scientists track dangerous RSV virus in Vietnam's elderly hospital patients

Summary
This study aims to understand how common and severe Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) infections are in older adults hospitalized in Vietnam. Researchers will observe 1,000 patients aged 60+ who are already in the hospital for breathing problems or heart/lung disease flare-ups. The goal is to collect detailed information about the virus and how sick it makes people to help plan future vaccination and prevention efforts.
