New treatment tested for rare Muscle-Weakening disease in kids

NCT ID NCT06149559

Summary

This study is testing whether a medication called rozanolixizumab is safe and effective for children aged 2 to 18 with moderate to severe generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG), a rare autoimmune disease that causes muscle weakness. The trial will enroll 12 children who haven't responded well to standard treatments. Researchers will monitor side effects, measure how the drug affects disease symptoms and antibody levels, and track how the body processes the medication over 18 weeks.
