NCT ID NCT01871038

Summary

This study aimed to measure how well the Rotarix vaccine prevents severe rotavirus infections in young children. Researchers compared children hospitalized or visiting the emergency room with rotavirus (cases) to similar children without rotavirus (controls). They looked at vaccination records to see if the vaccine reduced the risk of these serious visits.
