First seen May 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding a human skin graft patch to standard rotator cuff repair reduces the chance of the tendon tearing again. About 40 people aged 50 to 75 with large tears will be randomly assigned to get surgery with or without the patch. All will have an MRI one year later to check for re-tears and compare shoulder function.
