First seen Feb 26, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study tested new ways to use MRI and ultrasound to look at shoulder muscles in people with rotator cuff tears. Three adults with a tear on one side and a healthy shoulder on the other took part. The goal was to see if these imaging tools can measure muscle health more accurately, which could help doctors plan better treatments in the future.
