First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looks at whether adding a piece of the biceps tendon to rotator cuff repair helps the shoulder heal better. About 80 adults with medium to large rotator cuff tears will be randomly assigned to get either standard repair or repair with a biceps tendon patch. Researchers will measure shoulder function and healing on MRI up to two years after surgery.
