New stitching system aims to heal torn shoulder tendons

Summary
This study looks at how well a new surgical tool called the Flexible Suturing System with Anchors (FSSA) helps heal full-thickness rotator cuff tears. About 100 people who have surgery for a torn rotator cuff will be included. The main goal is to check tendon healing with an MRI one year after surgery.
