New device tested to unclog leg arteries in 600 patients
NCT ID NCT07016698
Summary
This study is collecting real-world data on how well a medical device called Rotarex works to clear blockages in the leg arteries of people with peripheral arterial disease (PAD). About 600 participants will have the device used during their standard procedure to restore blood flow. The main goals are to see if the procedure successfully opens the artery and if patients remain free from major complications like amputation or needing another procedure within 30 days.
