First seen Nov 20, 2025 · Last updated Jun 04, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looked at whether rosuvastatin, a cholesterol-lowering drug, can reduce early signs of artery hardening and prevent heart problems in people with ANCA-associated vasculitis (a type of blood vessel inflammation). 121 adults whose vasculitis was in remission took part. The goal was to see if the drug could lower their risk of future heart attacks or strokes.
