Can your cholesterol pill slow your running gains?

Summary
This study looks at how the cholesterol medication rosuvastatin affects endurance training in regular runners. Forty runners who need cholesterol treatment will either take the medication or not for three months while maintaining their usual running routine. Researchers will measure changes in fitness and check for muscle symptoms to see if the medication impacts training benefits.
