Summary

This study tested whether a gel made from rosemary extract could help treat gum disease (periodontitis) when used along with standard deep cleaning. 48 adults with moderate to severe gum disease received either the rosemary gel or a placebo gel after cleaning. The goal was to see if the gel could reduce pocket depth and improve gum health. Results are not yet available.
