Root canal relief: does a special paste between visits make a difference?
NCT ID NCT06447519
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to perform a multi-visit root canal treatment for painful, infected teeth. It will compare whether placing a calcium hydroxide paste in the tooth between appointments leads to better healing and less pain than leaving the tooth empty. About 110 adults with a specific painful tooth infection will participate, and their healing and pain levels will be tracked for up to two years.
