Dentists time themselves: does a microscope make root canals faster?

NCT ID NCT07304869

Summary

This study aimed to find out if using different magnifying tools changes how long a root canal procedure takes. Researchers timed each step of the treatment for 102 patients needing a root canal on a specific upper back tooth. They compared the speed of work using just the dentist's eyes, special magnifying glasses (loupes), or a high-powered dental microscope.
