Scientists test new dental material to stop leaky root canals
NCT ID NCT07205809
Summary
This is a laboratory study comparing two combinations of materials used to fill and seal root canals after treatment. Researchers will use 60 extracted human teeth to test whether a new bioceramic-coated filling material seals better against leaks than the standard, non-coated material when both are used with a bioceramic sealer. The goal is to identify which material combination creates a tighter seal, which could help improve the long-term success of root canal treatments.
