NCT ID NCT07250399
First seen Dec 08, 2025 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 41 times
Summary
This study looks at two different types of dental files used during root canal treatment to see which one causes less pain during and after the procedure. About 56 adults with severe tooth pain in their upper premolars will be randomly assigned to one of the two file systems. The goal is to find out if the way the file moves affects how much debris is pushed out of the tooth, which can cause pain.
