First seen Jun 09, 2026 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026

Summary

This study looks at 52 adults aged 20–40 who need a root canal on an infected lower back tooth. Researchers compare four rinsing tools—from a standard needle to suction and vibration devices—to see which one lowers pain and the need for painkillers after treatment. Participants rate their pain at several times over two days and record how many ibuprofen tablets they take.
