Can a stronger rinse mean less pain? dental study tests bleach solution for root canals

NCT ID NCT07453576

Summary

This study aims to find out if using different strengths of a common disinfecting rinse (sodium hypochlorite, like bleach) during a repeat root canal procedure affects pain after the treatment. Researchers will measure levels of natural pain and inflammation chemicals inside the tooth and track patients' pain reports. The goal is to help dentists choose the best rinse strength to minimize discomfort for their patients.
