Chilling discovery: could cold rinses ease root canal pain?
NCT ID NCT07191990
Summary
This study aims to find the best way to rinse a tooth during a single-visit root canal to reduce pain and bacteria afterward. It will compare using a standard room-temperature rinse to using a chilled rinse, a heated rinse, or a rinse activated with sound waves. The study involves 60 adults with a painful, inflamed tooth nerve in a specific lower molar.
