Toothache relief: does the type of bleach used in your root canal matter?

NCT ID NCT07248189

Summary

This study aimed to see if using a medical-grade bleach solution versus a common commercial one during a single-visit root canal would lead to less pain afterward. It involved 60 patients with severe, painful tooth inflammation in their lower back teeth. Patients were randomly assigned to receive one of the two bleach solutions during their procedure, and their pain levels were tracked for a week.
