New root canal paste tested to fight pain and infection

NCT ID NCT07252258

Summary

This study is testing which of two root canal pastes works better to reduce pain after treatment for a tooth root infection. 80 adults with infected front teeth will receive one of the pastes after their root canal cleaning. Researchers will measure their pain levels over two days to see if adding an antiseptic (chlorhexidine) to the standard paste provides better pain relief.
