Summary
This study looked at whether keeping the tip of the root canal open during treatment (called apical patency) reduces pain afterward. 72 adults with a single-rooted tooth received root canal therapy either with or without this technique. Pain was measured over 48 hours. The goal was to see if this simple step could make recovery more comfortable.
