Could your body clock hold the key to a less painful root canal?
NCT ID NCT07173699
Summary
This study aims to understand if the body's natural melatonin levels, which follow a daily rhythm, affect pain and sleep after a root canal. Researchers will treat two teeth in each participant, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, to see if treatment timing matters. They will measure pain levels, sleep quality, and saliva hormone levels to learn how the body's clock might influence recovery.
