Dental trial tests new pastes to ease agony after root canals
NCT ID NCT07270159
Summary
This study aimed to find the best medicated paste to reduce pain after the first stage of a root canal. It compared three pastes—one containing probiotics, one with two antibiotics, and a standard calcium paste—in 75 adults with severe, painful tooth infections. Participants reported their pain levels over a week to see which treatment worked best.
