Dental trial tests which tooth gel eases root canal pain faster
NCT ID NCT07198919
Summary
This study aims to find out which of two medications works better at reducing pain between dental appointments for people getting root canal treatment. Researchers will place either Chlorhexidine Gel or Nitrofurantoin Paste inside the cleaned tooth canals of 220 patients with infected teeth and measure their pain levels before treatment and after 24 and 48 hours. The goal is to help dentists choose the most effective medication to make root canal treatment more comfortable for patients.
