Tiny particles could make root canals less painful

NCT ID NCT07327996

Summary

This study is testing if adding tiny antibacterial particles to a common root canal paste makes the treatment work better. Forty-two adults with a dead nerve in a lower back tooth will get either the standard paste, the new particles alone, or a mix of both for one week. Researchers will measure patients' pain over several days and check bacteria levels to see which option provides the most comfort and effectiveness.
