The crown race: does faster mean longer lasting for root canal teeth?

NCT ID NCT06441058

Summary

This study looked back at dental records to see if getting a crown or similar restoration placed soon after a root canal helps the tooth survive longer. Researchers analyzed data from over 500 patients who had a root canal and a crown placed between 1998 and 1999. The goal was to find out if the timing of the final restoration is a key factor in keeping the tooth healthy and avoiding future problems.
