Robot surgeons vs. human hands: the knee replacement showdown that never happened

NCT ID NCT06036212

Summary

This study aimed to compare two methods for partial knee replacement surgery: one using a robotic-assisted system and the other using the surgeon's hands and standard tools. It planned to measure which technique helped patients forget about their artificial knee more often and which implants lasted longer. The study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
