Robot vs. magnet: the battle for better lung biopsies
NCT ID NCT06654271
Summary
This study compares two advanced technologies used to biopsy suspicious spots in the lungs. Researchers want to see whether a robotic system with 3D imaging or an electromagnetic navigation system gets better tissue samples for diagnosis. The trial involves 440 adults who need a biopsy for a lung nodule, with each patient randomly assigned to one of the two procedures.
