Robot vs. CT: which zaps lung nodules more precisely?
NCT ID NCT07389889
First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study compares two methods of using heat to destroy lung nodules that appear as ground-glass opacities. One method uses a robotic arm to guide the needle, while the other uses CT scans for guidance. The goal is to see which approach is more accurate and safer for patients who cannot have surgery. About 116 adults aged 18 to 85 with small lung nodules will take part.
