First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study examined how often robot-assisted surgery can completely remove early-stage laryngeal (voice box) cancer with healthy tissue around it. Researchers followed 54 people with T1-T2 tumors who had this surgery. The main goal was to see if the surgical edges were cancer-free, which is key to reducing the chance of cancer coming back.
