First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study tests whether a new robotic system called DEXTER is safe and effective for removing the right side of the colon (right colectomy). About 33 adults will have the surgery using the robot. The goal is to see if the procedure can be completed without switching to open or standard laparoscopic surgery, and to track any serious complications within 30 days.
